All the courses and workshops I facilitate have a strong practical element, with a focus on key techniques to enable graduates to feel confident working with their hands as well as their minds.
With the full permaculture design course the techniques may include 18 day hot composting, worm farming, heating water and green houses with compost, making compost with chickens, seed saving, propagating and grafting, food fermentation, plant guilding, natural building, animal husbandry, making wild medicines and working with willow .
My specialism is in working with wildlife whether in the soil, on the land or in the water, wildlife conservation is central to my teachings and the ethical principle of working with wildlife not against it. I facilitate this knowledge enabling students to create attract wildlife and get nature gardening for you.
The teaching incorporates all learning styles with a strong focus on working with peoples natural abilities and strengths.
Students use the permaculture design techniques from the start of the course to the end when they will present there final design which they have designed for an actual client.
I provide full support for students after they have finished the course to help them with their projects and networking.
