This immersion is a celebration of the botanical world, and a exploration of Guatemala’s wild edibles, and medicinal s, plant dyes and plant folklore. We will be drawing upon the knowledge of local people and experimenting with plant uses and cultivation. We will be studying the landscape, going on adventurous botanical forays into the mountains and forests and tuning into nature with all our senses.
Using permaculture principles and techniques, together we will grow in the botanical nursery, whilst cultivating a source of plant wisdom for sharing.
This immersion is suited to those really wishing to deepen their understanding of the plant world and practice permaculture techniques. It’s for aspiring gardeners and earth tenders with a desire to understand the relations of soil, plants and animals and work with them.
